Cum Clauses
In this sense (casual) cum means "since" always followed by the subjunctive, in any tense.
Cum ab urbe iam discesseris, hanc epistulam misi. -> Since you have already left the city, I have sent this letter.
In this sense (concessive) cum means "although".
Cum amicus sis, te necabo. -> Although you are my friend, I shall kill you.
Conditionals
Differs from the main clause/subjunctive clause format. Conditional sentences are those where an outcome is predicted based on what may or may not happen in advance.
Marcus, si tabernam vidit, semper intrabat. -> If Marcus saw a pub, he always used to go in.
